American environmentalist, entrepreneur and author Paul Hawken visited the country for his Drawdown Australia Tour in February 2018 to share the research behind his book ‘Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming’.
de Blas Communications ran the tour which consisted of 24 events over 18 days across seven cities in five states.
The tour enabled Hawken to connect with a diversity of actors in the climate change space including environmental NGOs, corporate, scientific, academic, philanthropic, impact investment, government and agricultural audiences.
Copies of his New York Times bestselling book were imported to Australia from the US and UK, signed by Hawken and sold at a dozen events by eight different book sellers.
Hawken’s tour also garnered local media coverage from a number of outlets including a feature in Ecolibrium magazine.
